Efficient sterilization, active disinfection and sterilization, and understanding of plasma disinfection and sterilization technology
01 What is plasma
Plasma is a form of matter primarily composed of free electrons and charged ions, widely present in the universe and often regarded as the fourth state of matter, known as the plasma state, or "hypergas", also known as "plasma".
Plasma is more common during thunderstorms, and lightning or electric current in lightning is a manifestation of plasma. Waterfalls, seawater, and other natural environments with good air conditions are also areas where plasma is enriched. At this time, the positive and negative ions inside the plasma reach equilibrium, so it appears electrically neutral overall.
02 The role of plasma
During the plasma formation process, various active particles such as ions, electrons, ultraviolet radiation, and excited state particles are generated. When active ions in an excited state interact with bacteria, viruses, and other cellular components, they interact with their cell walls, membranes, proteins, enzymes, as well as amino acids, nucleic acids, and other major components of the cell. By destroying the cellular components, they lyse and deform, ultimately leading to cell inactivation and achieving the effect of sterilization.
How to use plasma 03
The plasma module installed in the purifier will release high concentrations of positive and negative ions to form an efficient plasma inactivation zone in the air duct. When the airflow passes through the active inactivation zone, suspended microorganisms such as bacteria and viruses will capture the positive and negative ions, thereby killing bacteria and viruses; At the same time, it can gather dust particles to achieve dust reduction; Decompose VOCs to achieve odor removal; Single module, multiple functions.
04 Difference between Negative Oxygen Ions and Plasma
Negative ions refer to ions with one or more negative charges, also known as "anions". Some molecules can also form ions under special circumstances, such as oxygen ions, which are generally in the form of anions, also known as negative oxygen ions. In natural ecosystems, forests and wetlands are important places for producing negative (oxygen) ions in the air. It has a regulating effect on air purification, urban microclimate, and other aspects, and its concentration level is one of the indicators for evaluating urban air quality.
